Short Curriculum Vitae et Studiorum
Eleonora Pavoni ha conseguito la Laurea Magistrale in Chimica nel 2011 e il Dottorato di Ricerca in Chimica nel 2015, entrambi presso l’Università di Bologna. Durante il dottorato ha lavorato presso l’Istituto per la Sintesi Organica e la Fotoreattività presso il Consiglio Nazionale delle Ricerche (ISOF, CNR), poi, dal 2015 al 2016, è stata post-doc presso il Dipartimento di Scienze Biomediche e Neuromotorie (DIBINEM, Università di Bologna). È stata assegnista di ricerca presso il Dipartimento di Ingegneria dell’Informazione (DII, dell’Università Politecnica delle Marche), dal 2017 al 2021. Ha lavorato nel campo delle spettroscopie Ottiche, Raman e Infrarosso e nella caratterizzazione di materiali mediante tecniche di microscopia a scansione (AFM, STM, SMM). La sua attività scientifica ha riguardato la fotochimica e la fotofisica di composti di coordinazione, nanostrutture di carbonio, grafene e materiali supramolecolari. Attualmente è iscritta al corso di Dottorato in Ingegneria dell’Informazione e si occupa di materiali 2D e nanomateriali per l’energy harvesting presso il Dipartimento di Scienze della Materia, dell’Ambiente e dell’Urbanistica (SIMAU, dell’Università Politecnica delle Marche).

Eleonora Pavoni got a master’s degree in chemistry in 2011 and a PhD in chemistry in 2015, both from the University of Bologna. During her PhD she worked at the Institute of Organic Synthesis and Photoreactivity of the Italian National Research Council (ISOF, CNR), then, from 2015 to 2016, she was a post-doc at the Biomedical and Neuromotor Sciences Department (DIBINEM, University of Bologna). She was a research fellow at the Department of Information Engineering (DII, of Polytechnic University of Marche), from 2017 to 2021.  She has worked in the optical, Raman, and Infrared spectroscopies field and in material characterization by Scanning Microscope Techniques (AFM, STM, SMM). Her scientific activity was concerned with the photochemistry and photophysics of coordination compounds, carbon nanostructures, graphene, and supramolecular materials. Currently, she is a PhD candidate at the Department of Matter, Environmental Sciences and Urban Planning (SIMAU, of the Polytechnic University of Marche) and her research is focused on the modeling and simulation of nanomaterials at the atomistic scale.
