Gennaio 2011 – Dicembre 2013: Dottoranda del XII° ciclo in “Ingegneria dei Materiali, delle Acque e dei Terreni” presso il dipartimento di Scienze e Ingegneria della Materia, dell’Ambiente e Urbanistica (SIMAU) con una tesi dal titolo “Fase nematica cibotattica di cristalli liquidi bent-core: studio di un nuovo stato della materia con proprietà non convenzionali”
 
ATTIVITA’
  • Nanostruttura, architettura sopramolecolare e morfologia dei cristalli liquidi liotropici e dei loro complessi ternari liposoma-DNA-metallo mediante diffrazione di raggi X, AFM, NMR e tecniche di gas-massa. Prove di trasfezioni in-vivo.

  • Studio delle transizioni di fase, del comportamento mesomorfo, delle proprietà strutturali e ottiche dei cristalli liquidi termotropici bent-core mediante diffrazione ai raggi X/scattering e tecniche di microscopia ottica.

  • Nanostructure, supramolecular architecture and morphology of lyotropic liquid crystals and ternary Liposome-DNA- Metal complexes by means of X-Ray diffraction, AFM, NMR and gas-mass techniques. Testes of in-vivo transfection 
  • Study of phase transitions, mesomorphic behavior, structural and optical properties of thermotropic bent-core liquid crystals by means of X-ray diffraction/scattering and optical microscopy techniques
