The research activity encompasses different aspects involved in the hydrogeological risk analysis (i.e. flood, landslides, pollution and erosion), water resources evaluation by means of quantitative techniques (hydrogeological surveys, tracer and isotope hydrology), the trial of new tracers for hydrogeological applications, fluvial dynamics and hydrology, isotopes and their variations in the hydrological cycle. Specific attention is paid to the methodological innovation (in particular concerning the development and experimentation of new techniques in tracer and isotope hydrology).
