TEMA DI RICERCA
The research is focused on the application of synchrotron X-ray radiation to study soft condensed materials in particular liquid crystals (LCs), polymers and biosystems, with the aim of achieving new knowledge forinnovative applications in different fields including physics, chemistry, biology and engineering. The focus is the study of the relationshipsbetween macroscopic properties and materials structure at the nanoscale. To this end, a key role is played by X-ray diffraction/scattering as the primary tool of experimental investigation. Within this frame, Adamo has acquired extensive experience by actively participating in several official experiments at the main European synchrotron radiation facilitiesincluding ESRF, Grenoble (FR), Elettra, Trieste, ALBA, Barcelona (ES).

Short Curriculum Vitae et Studiorum
Fabrizio C. Adamo was born in Cosenza in 1992. In 2014 he obtained abachelor’s degree in physics at the Universitàdella Calabria. Two years later he spent three months at the Université Pierre et Marie Curie in Paris (FR) where he completedhis master thesis and graduated with aMaster of science in physics in 2016. In November 2016, he has become a Ph.D. student at UniversitàPolitecnicadelle Marche under the supervision of prof. O. Francescangeli.
