Activity
Slope erosion is an important issue in environmental studies. Its evaluation is a key to estimate the annual soil loss in a slope or in a hydrographic basin.
This research line involves the application of mathematical models in GIS environment to evaluate the erosion, their calibration by means of continuous measures of suspended and bed load transport in equipped sections of the Aspio river and the test of new models capable of best fitting to the Apennines watersheds.
