TEMA DI RICERCA

La sua attività di ricerca riguarda lo studio di materiali da costruzione innovativi e sostenibili per applicazioni strutturali e non strutturali. I suoi interessi includono i materiali ad attivazione alcalina e a base di cemento solfoalluminoso, nonché il riutilizzo di scarti e sottoprodotti industriali in paste/malte/calcestruzzi a base di cemento.

In particolare, la sua attività riguarda la caratterizzazione fisica e meccanica dei materiali, nonché lo studio della loro durabilità, compreso il comportamento a corrosione di armature di rinforzo esposte ad ambienti aggressivi.

Negli ultimi anni, la sua ricerca è volta anche alla possibilità di aggiungere fibre e filler a base di carbonio per la produzione di materiali da costruzione che si automonitorano.

 

Her research activity is focused on the study of innovative and sustainable construction materials for structural and non-structural applications. Her interests include alkali-activated and calcium sulfoaluminate cement-based materials as well as the reuse of wastes and industrial by-products in cement-based pastes/mortars/concretes.

In particular, her research concerns thephysical and mechanical characterization of materials as well as their durability properties, including the corrosion behaviour of embedded reinforcements exposed to aggressive environments.

During the last years, she studies the possibility to include carbon-based fillers/fibres in cement-based materialsforthe production ofself-sensing construction materials.

Nel 2012, riceve la laurea specialistica in Ingegneria Edile-Architettura all’Università Politecnica delle Marche. Nello stesso anno, ottiene l’abilitazione alla professione di Ingegnere e inizia il corso di dottorato all’UNIVPM presso il Dipartimento SIMAU. Durante questo periodo, lavora come ingegnere civile e trascorre un periodo all’estero presso la VrijeUniversiteitBrussels nel dipartimentoMaterials and Chemistry.

Nel 2015 ottiene il Dottorato di Ricerca in Scienze dell’Ingegneria, curriculum in Ingegneria della Materia, dell’Ambiente e del Territorio, con una tesi dal titolo “Geopolymeric and cementitiousmortars for buildings: Comparisonat the samestrength class”. 

Dal 2015 è Assegnista di Ricerca all’UNIVPM presso il Dipartimento SIMAU.

 

She held aMaster’s degree in Architecture-Building Engineering at Università Politecnicadelle Marche in 2012. In the same year, she got the license in civil engineering and she started her doctoral studies at UNIVPM in the SIMAU Department. During this period, she worked as civil engineer and spent a period abroad at Vrije Universiteit Brusselsin the department Materials and Chemistry.

In 2015 she got the Ph.D. in Engineering Sciences, curriculum in Materials Sciences, Environment and Territory, with a thesis entitled “Geopolymeric and cementitious mortarsfor buildings:Comparison at the same strength class”.

From 2015 to date she is Research Fellow at UNIVPM in the SIMAU Department.
