The Economics & Marketing research area covers activities related to the fields of economy, business administration and appraisal applied to distribution, market and consumption of products from the primary sector (agriculture, forestry and fishery), and their interconnection with socio-economic, environmental(e.g. new product development, novel foods and food innovations, new packaging models for agro-food products, branding and environmental sustainability). The research area embraces the marketing research concerning organic products and the innovation processes. Shares with D3A the Consumer Analysis Lab with equipment for neuromarketing investigations and market research.
