LEMA, Full professor of Chemical Engineering at University of Santiago de Compostela, Spain More than 350 papers (H-factor 52), 25 book chapters, participation in more than 40 EU funded projects and several national R&D&I activities testify his high scientific and international profile. He was coordinator of the Novedar_Consolider project and of the Cost Action «Conceiving Wastewater treatment 2020».
His main research area includes:

a) removal of organic micropollutants from wastewater;
b) anaerobic (co)digestion;
c) development of novel bioreactor for wastewater treatment;
d) biorefinery.
