Activity

Water resource evaluation is a key for the future of the planet, especially when drought phenomena are so widespread in the world. Resources and their variability in space and time are estimated both quantitatively in the field (by means of tracer hydrology and isotope hydrology) and using mathematical models useful to take into account different boundary conditions often changing in time. This issue also concerns the determination of the hydrogeological parameters in aquifers by means of tracer tests made in wells, piezometers, rivers and sinkholes.
